Indian temples are known for its architectural style, sculpture and arts. Swaminarayan's Akshardham temple located in the outskirts
of New Delhi is one of them. The temple is a humble tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781- 1830), the avatars, devas and great sages
of Hinduism. The traditionally-styled complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005.
This amazing structure of Akshardham Delhi, India comprises of 20,000 statues, floral motifs and exquisite carved pillars made of stones.
The main monument, of depicting ancient Indian “vastu shastra” and architecture, is a masterpiece in pink sandstone and white marble that
is 141 feet high, 316 feet wide and 370 feet long with 234 ornate pillars, over 20,000 sculptures and statues of deities, eleven
72-foot-high huge domes and decorative arches. Swaminarayan Akshardham, Delhi complex features a large central monument crafted entirely
of stone, exhibitions on incidents from the life of Swaminarayan and the history of India, an IMAX feature, a musical fountain, and large
